Human Evolution Timeline





1. About 800,000 years ago,    Fire   was controlled by early humans.
2. About   Six   million years ago most early human species became bipedal.
3. The Homo Habilis used to live in Eastern and  Southem Africa.
4. About 12,000 years ago, humans managed to control the growth and breeding of some    Plants  and animals.
5. The Sahelanthropus tchadensis is the earliest human species from the timeline.



1.-What's been the role of climate change in the development of humans?

The role that climate change had in the development of humans was very important because it managed to mobilize them in groups and create survival alternatives to overcome the cold as shelters.  This is why it caused the human brain to grow and evolve faster, allowing them to interact, communicate and adapt to this changing environment.




2. In your opinion, what is the most significant milestone for the human evolution? Why?

The most significant milestone for human evolution is the discovery of fire, because it caused changes in their diet, in security against threats, in their way of relating and communicating. In addition to being a source of light and heat to protect yourself from low temperatures.





3. Which early human species was thought to be the first to use tools made from stone?

The first primitive human creature to use tools made of stone, according to the chart, was Australopithecus.  It modeled utensils for hunting or cutting food.





4. Who were the first human species to travel to and live in Europe? When?

The first human species to travel and live in Europe was Homo Heidelbergensis.  This was caused about 700,000 years ago, due to climate change.


 


5. Which species survived for the longest time? For how long?

Homo erectus is the species that survived the longest on the planet, because it managed to adapt and overcome threats, through its body development and intelligence.  It lived from 150,000 years ago to 1.9 million years ago.
